Meet Eric Valdez
Founder & Director of Field Operations

Eric Valdez didn’t just get into roofing; he was raised in it. As the son of a roofer with over 40 years of experience, he developed a deep understanding of the trade from an early age.
In 2011, Eric began his professional career as a Field Supervisor with a local roofing company, where he ensured every new construction roof met strict quality standards and was ready for closing. His attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to doing things right quickly set him apart.
Eric advanced into a Field Operations Manager role, where he oversaw both in-house teams and subcontracted crews across residential and custom home projects. His responsibilities included:
- Managing job scheduling and timelines
- Overseeing quality control on every project
- Coordinating crews and subcontractors
- Ensuring safety compliance on job sites
- Handling jobsite logistics from start to finish
- Supervising an in-house sheet metal shop
- Training and mentoring new team members

After 14 years of being employed with the same roofing company, Eric made the decision to start ProNail Roofing, bringing his experience, leadership, and hands on approach directly to homeowners across the Central Texas area.
Outside of work, Eric is just as driven. He’s an avid runner who has completed full-distance races, including the Austin Full Marathon. Around his neighborhood, he’s known for keeping an immaculate lawn, so perfect that neighbors sometimes check if it’s real. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their 4 year old Goldendoodle, Coco.
That same pride, discipline, and attention to detail carries into every roofing project he takes on.
Meet Maribel Valdez
Co-Owner & Internal Operations

While roofing happens on the outside of your home, Maribel Valdez ensures everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
With a professional background as a paralegal, Maribel brings a high level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism to ProNail Roofing. She made the decision to step away from her full-time career to help build the company alongside her husband, Eric, playing a critical role in creating a business homeowners can rely on.
As Director of Internal Operations, Maribel manages the day-to-day systems that keep every project organized and on track. Her responsibilities include:
- Handling client communication (calls, emails, follow-ups)
- Scheduling inspections and project timelines
- Managing billing, invoicing, and accounting
- Overseeing administrative processes and documentation
- Ensuring every detail is handled accurately and efficiently

Outside of work, Maribel enjoys staying active, traveling with Eric, and spending time outdoors with their Goldendoodle, Coco. She also values coffee dates with Eric, where they connect and plan the future of the business.
